Elizabeth Bobbitt Writings

About Me
Elizabeth Bobbitt has a Master’s in Writing from the University of Salford in Manchester, UK. She also holds a PhD in English from the University of York.

A lifelong Anglophile from San Antonio, Texas, her writings are inspired by the way steam curls off the surface of a teacup at an English seaside hotel.
Since returning from her time in England, she has found endless inspiration in rediscovering the quiet romance of a Texas front porch on a midsummer's eve or the replenishing quiet of a hill country retreat. Most recently, her work has appeared in 78209 Magazine.

Elizabeth is working on her first novel, Castle Motterigg.

Her academic research focuses on early Gothic texts, and she is currently editing Ann Radcliffe’s poetry for Cambridge University Press.
